Location The Confluence Centre is a beautifully converted field barn ideally situated in the Yorkshire Dales National Park between the postcard villages of Grassington and Kettlewell in the stunning Wharfe Valley. The centre can be found just 1 hours drive from Leeds, Harrogate, Ripon, Bradford and Burnley and 20 minutes from Skipton railway station. Meeting Rooms The Dales Room is a large meeting room accommodating up to 22 people with full conference facilities, (photocopier, fax, OHP, screens, dry wipe board, flip charts, paper, pens and everything you may need for a full audio visual presentation). Mobile internet access available upon request.  The Conistone Lounge is a second meeting room for up to 18 people which can be used as a break-out room or as a  relaxing area with tv, dvd, video, hi-fi, snooker table and drinks area. Overnight  Accommodation There are 9 twin bedrooms that are clean and comfortable each containing 2 single beds, chest of drawers, hanging spaces, bedside lights and alarm clocks. There are 5 toilets and 4 showers which are all adjacent or next to each of the nine bedrooms, (bathrooms newly refurbished January 2009). Outdoor Grounds The centre is set in one acre of private land with seating areas for working outdoors and a large well maintained field for team building activities. Catering There is a large and fully equipped kitchen for groups who may wish to self cater or alternatively we can provide a buffet lunch at £9pp,  breakfast £6.50pp, evening meal £16.00pp and an unlimited amount of tea / coffee and biscuits £3.50pp for all day. (Kitchen awarded the maximum of 5 stars by the local authority for food hygeine and cleanliness). The Tennant Arms public house is just a 12 minute walk away in Kilnsey providing bar snacks and a full restauraunt menu. They are happy to serve an evening meal to groups in a private dining room at no extra cost provided this is booked in advance. Our Clients These businesses have been visiting the centre for many years with several now using it as their regional training and meeting venue; British Gas, Norwich Union, ASDA, Yorkshire Water, Barnardos, University of Huddersfield, Skipton Building Society, B&Q, Lancashire Health Authority, Games Workshop, University of London, HBOS, Christians Against Poverty, Masterfoods Ltd, Craven Housing Association, Bradford University. Activities You are welcome to bring your own trainers / facilitators or alternatively we can provide you with the names and contact details of freelance outdoor activity instructors who may be able to assist. In house we offer an "activity-pack" at a cost of £25. This contains equipment you can use in the centre grounds to facilitate rounders, baseball, cricket, volleyball, football, badminton, spongeball tennis and outdoor games such as limbo dancing and giant dominos.  We also offer a "Team Orienteering Treasure Trail" which is set in the nearby village of Kettlewell. This takes around 2 hours and involves teams visiting different locations on foot using a map to answer questions, retrieve information and solve puzzles. There are also items to collect and photographs to identify with a prize for the winning team. This is charged at a price of £10 per delegate. Walks There are hundreds of walks in the area, many of which can be taken directly from the door with the Dales Way itself running past the centre. The manager will be happy to provide you with maps and advice regarding distance / terraine and time required to complete such walks.
